At Summit Renovations, we believe strongly in the remodel process and love the ability to capture the Culture of Design. A whole-house renovation is most commonly a redesign of an existing floor plan. We remove walls, raise ceilings, and take care of major structural fixes. We begin with basements down, and turn your home into a masterpiece. 60% of our renovations take place in 100-year-old homes that are usually in Washington Park. In homes that were built 100 years or more ago, renovation requires significant expertise. We feel we have one of the best teams in Denver. Our engineers have been working with municipalities for decades and are known on a first-name basis.
The other 40% of our work covers our more standard remodels. These generally take place in Centennial, Littleton, Parker, Castle Rock, Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills, Englewood, Longmont, Arvada and surrounding communities.
You won’t really find us “bidding” your project or showing up with a tape measure on our first appointments. We rely heavily on our collaborative Design Process and believe we must prove ourselves worthy to earn your business. We take this very seriously. The end result is red-carpet client service and, by way of creating examples and through adherence to the Design Process, we typically earn a client’s project.
The next step is based on conceptual ideas for the home. We work with our designers to create two or three different concepts for you, and encourage active “strong” feedback. Based on that feedback, we move into a specific design direction, which enables us to price your project and give you a very “real and solid” budget.
Then we show you the final noted plans and budgets, and look at start dates. Before you sign any contracts, we show you 3D modeling and noted plans. We subsequently take it a step further and schedule a Design Consultation, usually two of them, depending on the scope of the project. You meet with one of our Designers and all of our Vendors to select “ALL” finishes. Lights, hardwood, paint, hardware, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, stone, tile, carpet. The result? You have a home that fits your taste and personality and it all matches cohesively.
It’s good to note that this is a good two to three-week process, due to the critical nature of coordination and agreement, and arrangements that need to be made for orders, etc.
Most whole-house renovations take between 2 1/2 months to 5 months. We have had very similar size projects range between $60K and $200K. More comprehensive projects between $200k and $1M are always driven by size and the selection of higher-end or custom finishes.
